2024-25 Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) for listing medicines on the PBS and designated vaccines on the NIP

2024-25 Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and National Immunisation Program (NIP) cost recovery fees commence on 1 July 2024.

The 2024-25 PBS and NIP Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) and a summary of fee changes from 1 July 2024 are now available on the Cost Recovery Fees and Charges web page.

Fees have been amended in line with the Australian Government Charging Framework and Cost Recovery Policy.

Amendments to the National Health (Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines—Cost Recovery) Regulations 2022 come into effect on 1 July 2024 to enact these changes. Applications submitted on or after 1 July 2024 are subject to the revised fees.

Public consultation on the draft 2024-25 CRIS was from 2 April to 15 May 2024, and the final CRIS includes a summary of stakeholder feedback and responses from the department.
