Stakeholder Forum Outcomes

The Stakeholder Forum was held in Canberra on 19 November 2012 for Stage One regarding Blood Glucose Test Strips.

Public Submissions

The Call for Submissions closed on 15 November 2012. The Department appreciates the contribution of all organisations and individuals who made a submission.

Unless otherwise requested, submissions addressing Terms of Reference 5 to 7 have been published below. This Stage of the Review focussed on the utilisation and patterns of use of self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) and the clinical outcomes and benefits of SMBG for people with type 2 diabetes not treated with insulin.

Some of the contents of these submissions may have been included in the draft Report. Submissions, or parts thereof, that are intended to remain confidential should have been clearly marked as such and justifications provided. The Department of Health and Ageing has not published submissions, or parts of submissions, which contain personal information, offensive language, potentially defamatory material or copyright infringing material.

Responsibility for copyright in submissions resides with the author(s), not with the Department of Health and Ageing.

All submissions have been converted to Portable Document Format (PDF) for publication and may have a different appearance to the document that was submitted.
