Updates from the Health Technology Assessment Policy and Methods Review Reference Committee

The Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Policy and Methods Review (Review) Reference Committee held its first two meetings on 1 December 2022 and 19 December 2022. The communique for these two meetings is now available on the HTA Review webpage.

The Reference Committee met in December 2022 to consider a number of matters to commence the HTA Review including preparation of a draft terms of reference. The Reference Committee sought feedback on the draft terms of reference from organisations representing patients, consumers, industry, advisory bodies, Commonwealth and state and territory governments. The Reference Committee will meet again on 27 January 2023. The HTA Review draft terms of reference and agenda for the Reference Committee meeting on 27 January 2023, are also now available on the HTA Review webpage.
