The PBS Cost Recovery Fees and Charges webpage has been updated for the 2022-23 financial year including:
- Updates to the fee table commencing 1 August 2022; and
- Link to the National Health (Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines – Cost Recovery) Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2022.
Background
The Department conducted an annual review of PBS/NIP listing and management fees to come into effect on 1 August 2022.
The activity based costing model previously agreed by Government remains the basis for charging categories and rates.
An indexation approach has been applied to all fees to reflect the current efficient costs of delivering services.
Public consultation on the draft 2022-23 CRIS was undertaken in June 2022. The final 2022-23 CRIS, incorporating stakeholder feedback received, will be published over the coming days.
