Schedule for PDA

A version of the Schedule of Pharmaceutical Benefits is now available for PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). We have released this in two ebook reader platforms, Vade Mecum/Plucker and Mobipocket, to ensure the widest possible coverage of device types.

Please read the Compatibility notes  prior to downloading the combination of ebook reader and Schedule for PDA - this will ensure a higher probability of success.

Download

The following versions of Schedule for PDA are now available for download:

If you have any comments on Schedule for PDA please leave them via the feedback  form. You can access the feedback form via the left hand navigation menu.

If you do not already have the appropriate ebook reader for your PDA, you will need to download it.

Installation

Because of the large number of possible combinations of ebook reader platform, host PC platform and PDA type, it is suggested that you consult the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your PDA, and those of the ebook platform reader that suits your PDA.

Compatibility notes

We have successfully tested the following combinations of the two ebook reader platforms on the following machines.

Please note:

  • While every effort has been made to ensure that Schedule for PDA will work for as many different PDAs as possible, we cannot guarantee that it will work with your machine - this is dependant on a number of issues beyond our control.
  • The above list is not exhaustive - there are many PDAs that we have not tested for compatibility with Schedule for PDA. We recommend that, if interested, you try installing Schedule for PDA.
  • The lack of touch screen support on BlackBerry® and SymbianTM OS smart phones means that Schedule for PDA is less usable on these machines. That said, we cannot recommend one type of PDA as being more or less appropriate for viewing Schedule for PDA.
  • The search function on both platforms is slow - delays of up to ten minutes can be expected on the first search performed on each month's Schedule for PDA. This is due to the creation of an index on first search.
